Connecticut’s new Energy Storage Solutions program combines equipment rebates with performance payments to support and encourage new behind-the-meter battery storage installations, with additional incentives for participants from historically underserved communities. In order to support resilient solar+storage installations in multifamily affordable housing facilities – among the most challenging sectors for clean energy development – Connecticut Green Bank has partnered with Clean Energy Group to offer project-specific technical assistance grants for pre-development feasibility studies.
This webinar showed examples of the kind of technical assistance developers and facility managers can qualify for, and explained the process to apply. A guest speaker from American Microgrid Solutions, a partner of Clean Energy Group’s Technical Assistance Fund (TAF), spoke to their experience providing resilient power assessments and project development support for community partners, including affordable housing providers.
