Building Equitable Practices & Programs: A Conversation with Energy Equity Leaders

This webinar, hosted by the Clean Energy States Alliance, featured a fireside chat with energy equity experts to discuss best practices for states to responsibly engage with communities as they develop and implement clean energy programs. Panelists discussed how states can identify who are the trusted partners in their state to effectively engage with communities, how states can break out of working in silos to develop trust and transparency with their communities, how to adequately compensate communities, and more. This discussion helps set the stage for an upcoming event for state and federal employees in Washington, DC, “IRA, BIL, and the Future of Clean Energy: A Summit to Support State Implementation,” which will take place on April 17 & 18, 2024.
