Summary:

In 2013—after Superstorm Sandy left more than eight million households and businesses without power throughout the Northeast—Clean Energy Group started the Resilient Power Project to pursue innovative strategies to advance solar paired with battery storage at the state and local level. The emphasis of the work is on finding resilient power solutions that bring improved health, safety, and economic benefits to at-risk populations.

This document summarizes some of the key project outcomes of the Resilient Power Project through providing information, knowledge-building support, and technical assistance to organizations working in low-income communities and communities of color across the country.
