This webinar, presented by CESA’s Energy Storage Technology Advancement Partnership (ESTAP), features presentations by John Wood and Steve Willard on East Penn/ Ecoult’s battery storage installations.
John Wood, CEO of Ecoult Energy Storage Solutions, presented an update on three projects that use UltraBattery for variability management, including the Hampton Wind Smoothing project, the PNM Prosperity Solar Energy Smoothing and Shifting project, and the 3MW PJM regulation services project at East Penn in Pennsylvania. He also provided an introduction to the King Island (Island Grid) project, which will use a 3MW UltraBattery storage solution to support optimization and stability of a Wind/Solar PV/Diesel grid.
This webinar also featured presentations by Steve Willard, project manager of East Penn/Ecoult’s energy storage project at PNM in New Mexico; Dan Borneo of Sandia National Laboratories; and Imre Gyuk, Energy Storage Program Manager in the Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability, U.S. DOE.
