October 7, 2005
by Lew Milford, Clean Energy Group
This CEG presentation provides an overview for federal, state, and local officials on how clean energy can deliver reliable power in emergencies. Critical public facilities should install on-site clean energy generation to reduce the risk from power failures. This document is intended to give state, local and federal officials a snapshot of what state clean energy funds and others are already doing to harden critical infrastructure, and demonstrate the potential to further enhance emergency preparedness.
